What makes you feel most connected to your femininity?

“What makes me feel most connected to my feminism is being around mother nature and
other strong women. I say this because especially from where I am from, which is
Guatemala, and specifically a Garifuna background, the generational line of women in my
life are very strong.

The women are firm and providing, and I see qualities of them in my
everyday life.”

What outfit do you feel most sexy in?

“An outfit I feel most sexy in, funny enough is no outfit at all! I have always had pride in
my bare skin. It is what I feel most seductive in because it is me at its essence.”

Has anyone ever judged you for showing your more feminine, emotional side? How did you deal with that?

“When showing my emotional side, it is only natural as human beings.

I feel judgements naturally too from others… but, it is extremely important as human beings to be empathetic and understand one another without releasing any negative projections.

It is simply about helping others ‘let it out’. Simple. I do not deal with it..

I just simply understand that everyone’s flow is different, but I know mine.”

At what point in your life did you start to really step into your femininity and the divinity that comes with that?

“There was no specific ‘point’ in my life where I stepped into my divinity.

It is in multiple layers revealing itself through everyday life. Divinity to me is a lifelong process. However, I notice that when I move on momentum with no thought and lots of self-control… This is my divine energy at its prime.”

What’s your favorite self-care ritual?

“My favorite self-care ritual is moving my body.

I have been dancing since I was about 10 years old and doing yoga since I was less than 7… It is important to understand and feel the tension in your physical body.

When you stretch and breathe, you feel your body grow spiritually 10 inches taller!”

What do you love most about being a woman?

“What I love most being a woman is that I have the capability to carry life within me. This holds plenty of responsibility, but it is something that obviously woman have the power to have.

It is a unique and special quality that I would not take for granted.”

What inspires your creativity most?

“What inspires my creativity the most is solidarity and being in nature. When I mean being in nature, I include traveling as well!”

How do you express your creative side?

“I express my creative side in multiple ways, but dominantly it is through my actions. Whether it is making clothes, photos, or short films if I feel in my gut to create something I say no more and just act.”

Women are intuitive beings by nature. What’s one instance where you’ve felt called to really tap into your intuition and listen to that voice inside of you?

“One instance where I felt called to tap to into my intuition is when I noticed signs of my
inner child within me – I have never changed my interests. I’ve always, since young, had a
calling to save the world and help others.

I remember seeing animals suffering through graphic videos on Tumblr and telling my mother immediately I want to go vegan etc… With discipline, and persistence, you notice qualities of your childhood and your ancestors.

That is your intuition, your gut… Do not think. Just do.”

Women have an intrinsic trait where we tend to avoid confrontation, and handle issues passively. Because of this, we can often manipulate the situation and get our way without fighting. What’s one time that you’ve seen this trait show through you?

“I personally do not avoid confrontation, if I feel any energy shift I confront it head on or speak up about it.

However, your initial process of feeling any judgment or hurt naturally allows you to bottle up any issues.

I’ve learned overtime [that] if I feel something, to just address it right away.”

When did you really start to feel confident in yourself? Was there a specific moment or event that caused you to embrace yourself with love and step into confidence?

“I really started feeling confident in myself once I shut off external factors and physically
did things I wanted to do.

Whether it be creative projects or stay committed to my goals for the day/ week/ year. It takes major self-control to be like ‘okay no time to waste, let’s do this and let’s do it now.’

There are no specific moments, rather it is momentum.”

Was there a time you ever doubted yourself? And how did you overcome your doubt?

“It is natural to doubt yourself… I overcome this by understanding what OTHERS think is out of my control. I can only control my actions.

That again is my fuel. At the end of the day it is important to sleep with a clean and forgiving heart.

So, I do not take opinion’s personally because again I cannot control that, and quite frankly it does not matter to me.”

As women, we are too often told we need to change the way we look, and the media and beauty industries can pick on our insecurities. How do you like to honor your body and remind yourself how beautiful and perfect you are?

“This is an amazing question. Yes, I do agree that as women we are picked at through
society and the concept of beauty is forever changing.

I honor my body by taking time to treat it carefully. Through the foods I eat, my attitude, exercise… Everything connects. I am not perfect, but I know that I can work on bettering myself endlessly.

What advice would you give to a young girl who isn’t confident in her body and femininity yet?

“The advice I would give to a young girl who is not confident in her body is, to ignore all outside agendas. It is your body from now until the end.

Either you will treat it with proper care or tear it down. I want all the younger girls to understand that it is a process, but once you realize no one will ever wear your skin, that is your power.

I hope that you use that perspective as fuel, and embrace it!”

Women are naturally highly sensitive beings, and we deeply feel our emotions. How do you honor your emotions and give yourself space to feel?

“Empathy. As human beings I believe this is one the most powerful tools to create
prosperity.

I honor my emotions by understanding that it will always be a wave, never
linear.

Therefore, I have to let it flow. The only way is up. So, stay focused, take proper
care and allow it to happen naturally.”

As women, and divine feminine beings, we’re given the precious ability to create life. In our society, we’re told we need to be mothers and raise a family. While having the incredible ability to create life and give birth, not every woman decides to become a mom, and that’s okay. What are your thoughts on this topic? How do you feel about being able to create the most precious thing on earth – life itself?

“I actually appreciate the women who are able to be upfront and say I do not want
children. I rather that then have future generations damaged or neglected from proper care/time.

BUT – I’ve noticed a common ‘mom-guilt’ quality among mothers. No one is a
perfect parent or human… It is just best to let your children form into their natural selves.”

The divine feminine energy within you is inherently strongly connected to nature – Mother Earth. What is your favorite way to spend time in nature and honor Mother Earth?

“My favorite way to spend time in nature and honor the planet is by giving back! Hopefully I am able to build schools/ resources for those who need it the most across the globe.

Until then, I do little things such as use reusable bags, less plastic waste, and utilize nature friendly products.”

As women, we are the embodiment of Divine Feminine energy, but we also have Divine Masculine energy within us. Do you often feel like you have more feminine energy than masculine, or vice versa? How does the energy that you think is most dominant within you often express itself through you?

“I notice my ‘masculine’/ ‘feminine’ energy every now and then, but the energy I have within me that expresses it the most is definitely just a balance between the two.

The dominance that right now I am focused on is creating healthy habits so that I can give back to those in need. Self-control is extremely important, tomorrow is never promised.

To whoever is reading and wants to create, do not think about it anymore. Start right now. Do it!”
