Joecelynn Soto Is Living Her Dream Life at 19 Years Old

In her first interview with Manifest Easy, Joecelynn Soto shares how she’s come so far already at only 19 years young, where she plans on going, and how she’s manifested fearlessness which helps her in all areas of her life.

What’s the best thing that’s ever happened to you?

“The best thing that has ever happened to me was winning Miss Teen US latina and having a bigger platform to reach younger girls.

Also, Becoming Director for Teen Universe Arizona this year! I am excited to build this business and work with girls who want to change their lives.”

What is your favorite part about being a woman?

“My favorite part about being a woman is having the ability to give life. It is magical! Also, getting to play dress-up everyday. “

Who is your favorite role model?

“There are a couple woman in my life I look up too. However, Gladys Neri is my business mentor and life coach. I admire her independence, leadership and the poise she carries.”

What is your dream in life?

“I want to empower many woman that come across me. I hope the Arts Academy I build becomes a place of hope for many people.

Overall, my dream life is simply doing what I love and creating my own family & leading my children the best that I can.”

When you’re feeling down, what do you like to do to bring yourself back into good spirits?

“When I am feeling down I like to pray and listen to Gospel music. It’s all mind-work, and how you talk to yourself. “

What makes your soul light up?

“Witnessing people come out of their shell, following their dreams while doing good for others and teaching people the value of self-love.”

What is your favorite outfit to wear at the moment?

“I have so many different styles. I can go from business attire to street wear. My current favorite outfits are all my “90’s” look outfits.”

What is your “happy place”?

“My happy place is definitely being with a group of girls that I am teaching/mentoring. If not that then with my loved ones.”

What’s most important to you?

“My work ethic, relationship with God and making a change through my platform.”

What’s the funniest moment you’ve ever experienced?

“I go through the weirdest situations everyday. The Funniest moment I have experienced would be on my first day of college, when I sat on a bench with bird poop.”

What’s your favorite thing that you’ve manifested into your life so far?

“I manifested change in my life & a stronger mindset. I used to always live on expectations for others – trying to please everyone. Ever since, I feel like I live more fearlessly.”

If you had the chance to talk to your younger self, what would you tell them?

“I would tell her how much her life was going go change when her mindset did, to keep pushing regardless if she didn’t have anyone’s support.

I’d tell her to seek help and to never ever let anyone dim her voice.”

What’s something that you love about yourself?

“I love how I look out for myself now. I value my abilities.  I also love how I am a very forgiving person, it is good to live a life with no resentment.”

What’s your favorite meal? Gimme allll the juicy details!!! 

“My favorite meal is Fried Mexican sushi! My best-friend and I go every month!

It has two different types of meat, avocado, cream cheese, and the rest is classified. Go try it, it’s the best!”

Do you meditate?

“I recently started taking a stress management class at my university. They teach us how to meditate and we do it before every class session. It helps relax my muscles, release negativity and bring positive spirits.”

What is something you’re really proud of accomplishing? 

“I am proud of Running 9 half marathons and 3 full marathons of 26 miles.

Aside from the modeling world, I used to love to run until I ruined my knees from training improperly. I am also proud of the pageants I won and being able to win nationals for Miss Teen US latina, the rest is a story.”

What do you want to be remembered as?

“I definitely want to be remembered as someone compassionate, Forgiving and above all a woman with God’s Grace.”
