“Does manifestation require taking action?” This is the number one question I get regarding manifestation.
There’s two answers to this question, and they’re both correct.
The first answer is,
No.
Manifestation does not require action.
What I mean when I say this is,
We are constantly attracting and manifesting, in every single moment. (learn more details about how we’re manifesting in every moment by clicking here)
You can sit on your couch, think of someone you love, and because you’re not attached to hearing from them, they’ll text you. Almost instantly.
You can sit outside and think of a butterfly and how beautiful butterflies are and how it’s magical that they fly around and are a symbol of beauty and peace and joy; and then a butterfly will show up.
You didn’t do anything in either of these circumstances besides use the power of your mind –
You didn’t go looking for the person to text you or call you, you didn’t try to reach out to them first…
You didn’t go looking for a butterfly…
Yet they both appeared into your reality just by your thought.
Now let’s say, you wanted to manifest a butterfly, but you were inside.
You would have to walk outside (unless you’re in a greenhouse or butterfly sanctuary lol) to see a butterfly…
You would have to take action to prepare for the universe giving you what you’re asking for.
This is the same with everything…
And this is where the second part of the answer comes in;
Yes – manifestation requires action,
But only if you’re not already prepared for what you’re asking for.
Another example of this;
Let’s say you’ve asked the universe for $10,000.
You feel grateful for the money, it’s already yours in your mind… but you have no means of receiving this money.
You haven’t put yourself in a position where you can actually receive $10,000 unexpectedly.
You haven’t started your business, you haven’t got a job to get a check or raise from, you haven’t bought a lottery ticket,
But you’re asking for $10,000 to appear!
I’m not here to burst anyone’s bubble, but if you haven’t prepared for what you’re asking for, the Universe doesn’t really have a way to give it to you.
It’s like you have a really really small cup, a cup that can only hold 5 drops of water,
And you’re asking for an entire gallon of water.
You have no place to hold it!
And chances are, if you haven’t really prepared physically for what you’re asking the Universe to give you,
You probably don’t actually believe (which is the most important part anyways) that you’re worthy of receiving that which you’ve asked for.
Not only does manifestation sometimes require action physically, it also requires action spiritually and mentally and emotionally.
Going back to the cup analogy,
If you’re asking for $10,000
But you’re also stuck in the mindset of lack,
The mindset of “I don’t have enough”
The universe cannot give to you,
Because your cup is too small.
You haven’t truly widened your mind and your perspective and your beliefs to receiving the $10,000 unexpectedly.
Don’t get it twisted:
Most of the work is not physical.
Most of the work is believing you can receive what you want and that you are worthy and deserving.
Just keep in mind;
Don’t try to kid yourself into manifesting the house of your dreams from your living room couch.
If you don’t believe you can do it truly,
It won’t happen.
Sometimes, we gotta take action just so that we believe in ourselves too,
Sometimes it’s not even about preparing physically,
Sometimes action is just about preparing our mentality and our beliefs.
And if you ask me, that’s really why action is important,
Because your mentality and your beliefs and your perspective creates everything around you.
So, why not take the action, take the leap, so that you can grow mentally and emotionally and spiritually, and expand your beliefs?
This is your sign to do that thing that scares you..
Do that thing that you feel is right…
Take the leap…
And in doing so the Universe will reward you.
